This layout is for the family album to show Alton & Marisa's 1st day of school. How did I go from doing one layout to now 3 for the 1st day of school? Hmmm...may have to re-think this. But for now I don't mind because I love the 1st day of school.
I don't think you should stiffle your creativity just because it "may be too many pages on the same event" - that's just silly to me. There is no such thing as too many! In fact, wouldn't it be cool to later pull out some of your favorite layouts from the first day of school and make a special album that you actually keep for yourself?
Oh, and this is one of my favorite page layouts, I use this often when I have 3 pictures to scrap. I like how you curved the title to match the curve of the journal block. Very cool!
Kim, you are so right about no such thing as too many scrapbook pages. I always love looking at finished layouts and never grow tired of it, but sometimes just grow tired of scrapbooking the same theme. But I will heed your advice and stop "stiffling" my creativity. You're so good at inspiring me and stopping me from being my worst critic. Thank YOU!!
